Featuring original engravings and paintings from the period plus later images from the Illustrated London News and the Graphic, this primary source was edited and collected into the famous book "Wellington's Men" by W H Fitchett published in 1900 which was written during the height of the British Empire, and the triumphalist mood of the day is reflected in the tone of the introductory text text.
